  7.      Note how the PATH command in line three was modified and how BOARD was
  8.      added to the end of the batch file.

  10.      IMPORTANT:  Starting  with  version  2.1, TriBBS  uses  TTPROT.EXE  to
  11.      perform file transfers.  TTPROT is  included with TriBBS  and must  be
  12.      placed in either your main TriBBS  directory or a directory that is in
  13.      your DOS PATH statement.

  15.      If  everything   has  been  done  properly,  TriBBS  should  start  up
  16.      automatically after a reboot.  So let's give it a try and press RESET.
  17.      After a  few seconds,  you should  see the TriBBS  Waiting for  Caller
  18.      screen.  If you don't, you should go back and check both BOARD.BAT and
  19.      AUTOEXEC.BAT for errors.  It will probably be something really simple.

  25.      You can now finally log on as a  new user.  Simply enter BOARD at  the
  26.      DOS prompt  to restart TriBBS.   After the  Waiting for  Caller screen
  27.      appears  and the  modem  has been  initialized, move  the double-lined
  28.      border to  the "Local  Logon" menu  option and select  it by  pressing
  29.      <ENTER>.   This option will log you on  to the BBS and takes the phone
  30.      off the  hook.  The screen should now clear  and the following will be
  31.      displayed:

  48.      This display simply  displays that  a local connection  was made,  the
  49.      name of  the board, Unnamed BBS,  and node number; that  it's a TriBBS
  50.      5.0  BBS; a copyright notice; the sysop's  name, Joe Sysop; and it's a
  51.      "Test  Drive Version!"  of the  software.   The board's  name  and the
  52.      sysop's name can be changed quite simply.  We'll discuss how it's done
  53.      in the next  section.  As  for a registration  number, you'll have  to
  54.      register your board to get rid of "Test Drive Version!".  (Hint, Hint)

  56.      You will  also note that TriBBS is prompting you  as to whether or not
  57.      you want ANSI color graphics or not.  If you have a color monitor, you
  58.      will probably want to  respond affirmatively by pressing <Y>.   If you
